Position Overview:
As an Assistant Baker at CookieDo, you’ll assist in the daily preparation and baking of cookies and cakes, ensuring smooth operations and helping to maintain the quality and consistency of our products. If you’re passionate about baking and eager to learn, this role will provide valuable hands-on experience in a fun, creative environment.
Responsibilities:
Baking Assistance:
- Assist in the preparation and baking of cookies and cakes, following recipes and instructions from the lead baker.
- Help with decorating, packaging, and preparing orders for delivery.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all baked goods meet CookieDo’s standards for taste and presentation.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and help with inventory management.
Cleanliness & Organization:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of baking equipment.
Training & Development:
- Learn new baking techniques and assist with the creation of new flavors and recipes.
- Participate in training sessions to improve your skills.
Qualifications:
- Some experience in a bakery or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Passion for baking and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
