Position Overview:
As the Assistant Kitchen Manager at CookieDo, you will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure efficient production of our baked goods. You’ll play a key role in managing the kitchen team, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Support:
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in supervising kitchen staff and coordinating daily production.
- Help with scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Train and support kitchen staff, ensuring they follow recipes and safety guidelines.
- Step in for the Kitchen Manager when needed and resolve any issues that arise.
Inventory & Quality Control:
- Assist with monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure consistency in the quality and presentation of all baked goods.
Cleanliness & Organization:
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment and kitchen tools.
Training & Development:
- Stay updated on new baking techniques and participate in staff training sessions.
- Assist with the introduction of new recipes and menu items.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen management role is preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen safety standards.
