Lead the Heart of CookieDo’s Kitchen Operations!
Position Overview:
As a Kitchen Manager at CookieDo, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient production and maintaining high standards of quality for all our baked goods. You will lead a team of bakers, manage inventory, and ensure a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations:
- Manage daily kitchen activities, including staff assignments and production schedules.
- Oversee the preparation and baking of cookies and cakes to maintain consistency and quality.
Team Leadership:
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to CookieDo’s standards.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new kitchen team members.
Inventory & Quality Control:
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and final products.
Cleanliness & Organization:
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise and ensure equipment is well-maintained.
Training & Development:
- Stay updated on new baking trends and techniques.
- Lead training sessions to continuously improve the team’s skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a kitchen manager or in a leadership role in a bakery or restaurant.
- Strong baking knowledge and ability to manage kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
